Bringing great ideas to market

There is an interesting story in today’s Globe and Mail about how a professor at University of Toronto is helping researchers and students commercialize their research.

Of particular interest to agriculture is Dr. Cynthia Goh’s work with Darren Anderson and Vive Crop Protection. Vive develops nanoparticle-based materials for agricultural applications such as crop protection, and now has 30 full-time employees across two locations, one in Guelph and one in Toronto.
